Shopping Sprees

Active 20-30 Sacramento No.1 holds two shopping sprees a year: the Back to School Shopping Spree and the Holiday Shopping Spree. We take a 80-100 underpriveledged kids shopping, giving each child anywhere from $100 to $150 to spend.

Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin Patch is an event held every fall where members of Active 20-30 take a group of special needs kids to the Pumpkin Farm in Citrus Heights.

Helping Out

In addition to our own events, Active 20-30 Sacramento No.1 also helps out other organizations in the Sacramento area. We often volunteer for events such as Run to Feed the Hungry or the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake.

Special Kids Family Picnic

The Special Kids Family Picnic is an opportunity for special needs children and their families to enjoy a day in an environment free of judgement and full of support. The picnic is tailored to provide an entertaining time for not just the special needs child, but also for any other children in the family and for any relative who may accompany the child.

Building the Community

Active 20-30 Sacramento No. 1 has a long history of helping to build child-friendly installations throughout the community, through financial contribution, manpower, or both. For example, Active 20-30 Sacramento No.1 has been a major contributor to Fairytale Town over the years.
